We were staying in Stellenbosch for only one night and the Stables was a good reasonably priced guest house. Our host Ilaria was very helpful and the room was fine. It was good to be able to visit a nearby wine estate without having to drive

The guesthouse is set down a driveway away from the main road so it was very quiet and relaxing. Breakfast had a good variety on offer. The bathrooms are modern but the character of the original house has been tastefully kept throughout.
The front of the property does not do justice to the quality of the establishent but our stay was very relaxing in the main house with loads of character. Breakfast outside was a delight and staff uniformly friendly. Nice grounds and pool; nothing else needed!
