Centro Histórico is full of fun adventures, but don't restrict yourself to one place. Rent some wheels and head off to see what else awaits in the surrounding area. These are some great options:

• Guanajuato is approximately 65 miles from Centro Histórico. Well-known sights like Juarez Theater should be high on your list while you're in town.
• Next stop? Consider Mexico City, which is around 110 miles away. Zócalo is one local highlight you really shouldn't miss.
