There are lots of things to see and do in Chakkrawat, but venture farther afield and you'll find even more magic. Arrange a set of wheels and you can meander around the surrounding area at your leisure. Add these awesome destinations to your itinerary:

• You'll find Buddha Mountain and loads of other interesting attractions in Pattaya. From Chakkrawat, it's around 60 miles away.
• Your next stop? It has to be Hua Hin, which is around 90 miles away. Hua Hin Railway Station is one local hot spot you won't want to miss.
• Klong Plu Waterfall is about 170 miles from Chakkrawat and is one of the region's most scenic nature spots. Stretch your legs and enjoy the fresh air.

If you don't have a driver's license issued in Thailand, then it's likely you'll need to get an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your place of residence in order to rent a car.
