Car Rental Estoril

Once you've visited all of the fabulous sights in Estoril, there's loads more to see in the region. Collect the keys to a rental car, stow your bags in the trunk and get out on the open road. Here are some road trips we're confident you'll enjoy:

• Ouro Preto is approximately 40 miles from Estoril. Famous tourist spots like Tiradentes Square deserve to be high on your must-see list while you're in town.
• Your next stop? It has to be Divinopolis, which is around 60 miles away. Shopping Pátio Divinópolis is one local hot spot you won't want to miss.
• Visit Christ the Redeemer to feel grounded in nature. Take a picnic to enjoy or just relax and unwind. From Estoril, it's approximately 210 miles away.

If you don't have a driver's license issued in Brazil, then it's likely you'll need to acquire an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your place of residence in order to rent a car. You should also note that if you do need an IDP, it won't be valid on its own. You'll need to show your current driver's license your passport and other forms of documentation as well. Lastly, it's important that the credit card you used to book the rental matches the name on your license and passport. Some added requirements for international car rentals are:

• Age restrictions: You'll need to be at least 25 in many countries to rent a car. If you're younger than that, it might still be possible to rent a car but you'll have to pay a Young Driver's Surcharge. Additional restrictions may also apply to the types of cars you can rent.
• Driving limitations: Make sure you read the rules and regulations before sliding behind the wheel. Usually, you can't cross country borders, drive onto ferries or on certain types of rugged terrain with a rental vehicle.
