There's so much to do in Irene, but head farther afield and you'll find even more magic. Book a set of wheels and you can wander around the greater area at your own pace. Add these awesome destinations to your travel plan:

• Make your way to Middelburg for a fantastic sightseeing adventure. Roughly 80 miles from Irene, it's home to lots of amazing attractions such as Middelburg Mall.
• Roughly 55 miles away, Rustenburg is also popular with wanderers. Set aside time to take in Ten Flags Theme Park while you're here. It's one of the reasons people love staying a while in this vibrant city.
