Car Rental Minh Trí

There are lots of things to see and do in Minh Trí, but venture farther afield and you'll find more sightseeing magic. Organize a set of wheels and you can wander around the surrounding area at your own pace. Add these awesome destinations to your itinerary:

• You'll find Halong Bay Marina and many more amazing attractions in Ha Long. From Minh Trí, it's about 90 miles away.
• Next stop? Make it Hai Phong, which is around 65 miles away. Cat Ba National Park is one local highlight you shouldn't miss.
• Make tracks to Fan Si Pan to reconnect with nature. Pack a picnic to enjoy or just recharge your batteries in the fresh air. From Minh Trí, it's roughly 150 miles away.

If you don't have a driver's license issued in Vietnam, then you'll likely need to get an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your home country to be able to rent a car. Please also consider that if an IDP is required, it has no validity on its own. You'll be asked to show your current license your passport and other forms of documentation as well. Lastly, make sure the credit card used to book the rental vehicle matches the name on your license and passport. A few other things to note for international car rentals are:

• Age restrictions: You need to be 25 or over in most places to rent a car. If you're younger than that, it may still be possible to rent a car but you'll have to pay a Young Driver's Surcharge. Additional restrictions may also apply to the types of cars you can rent.
• Driving limitations: Be sure to read the fine print before getting behind the wheel. Usually, you can't cross country borders, drive onto ferries or go off-roading with a rental car.
