After you've checked out all of the terrific sights in Thepharak, there's loads more to explore in the surrounding area. Collect the keys to a rental car, stow your luggage in the trunk and hit the road. These are some road trips we think you'll love:

• Head off to Pattaya for a fantastic sightseeing experience. Around 50 miles from Thepharak, it has loads of great attractions, including Buddha Mountain.
• Why not see all that's on offer in Hua Hin too? Top attractions to see here include Hua Hin Railway Station. Hua Hin is about 85 miles from Thepharak.
• Get into the outdoors and take in the serenity at Klong Plu Waterfall. You'll find it approximately 160 miles from Thepharak.

If you don't hold a driver's license issued in Thailand, then it's likely you'll need to apply for an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your place of residence to be allowed to rent a car. Please also consider that if you do need an IDP, it has no validity on its own. You'll have to show your current driver's license your passport and other forms of documentation as well.
