There are lots of things to see and do in Zhongli District, but venture farther afield and you'll find more sightseeing magic. Arrange a set of wheels and you can wander around the surrounding region at your leisure. Add these awesome destinations to your to-do list:

• Keelung is 35 miles from Zhongli District. Famous attractions like Keelung Night Market deserve to be at the top of your list while you're in town.
• Your next pit stop? Make it Taichung, which is around 55 miles away. Taichung Park is one local draw card you won't want to miss.
• Get out into nature and inhale the fresh air at Kenting National Park. It's about 210 miles from Zhongli District.

If you don't possess a driver's license issued in Taiwan, then you might need to apply for an International Driving Permit (IDP) in your place of residence in order to rent a car.
