Overall great stay & nice quiet but fun area for the family. Strong suggestions below: don’t cheap out on fire wood, They don’t give much of any firewood to last past 30 minutes & shared amongst a full house of guests (5-6 logs per fire, 2 fire pits). Extend pool hours, apparently they allowed the owners kids in after closure but not anyone else. People are out all day touring and the pool closes too early, all guests we met agreed that this wasn’t ideal Open up hot tub enclosure, no one can enjoy it with kids because you cannot access it from the pool side since it’s locked and kids can’t be in the pool unsupervised. Not ideal for single parents & not advertised this way

We chose one of the cabinet instead of RV they offering. Room itself is large and clean. However there is no shampoo and conditioner provided, and this was not communicated during booking or any messages. Not sure about business hour communication, but off hour communication is NON EXISTENCE. We checked in late around 7pm, noticed there was no shampoo, so we texted and called the number they provided, but no answers or response. According to the message they sent, we could go find the host at a red door cabinet, so we went, but all lights are off, we didn't want to disturb him thinking one night without shampoo is fine. When we checked in, the host unlocked our door for us and there was ONE key hanging on the wall. We didn't realize it's only for the deadbolt lock, and there's no key for the cylindrical lock below. When we tried to look for host about the shampoo, we locked our room's cylindrical locks, so we can't get in the room anymore. We try to call the number again a few times, nobody anwsers. Left voice messages as well. Tried Expedia message, same result. Luckily we were able to open the door with a credit card, but we would be without a place to stay if we couldn't. Host's message said that number could be used for emergency, I know locking myself out was partially my fault, but there was 0 after hours supports. It was the next day's morning, we got an reply about shampoos saying they do not provide that, NOTHING about our locking situation.

The ocean view was amazing. Sitting on the front deck watching the sunset over the ocean ticked an item off my vacation bucket list. Definitely would recommend it to friends….and have.

The staff and owner were really great! We stayed for 2 nights and they helped us with getting kayaking ready. There are two issues we had, one was we didn’t realize how cold it gets at night (even in July). We stayed in an older plastic dome so it felt more like a tent. Make sure you bring winter PJs/extra layers. The other matter was outside of our control. The shower area drained towards the toilet so everything was wet after a shower. Aside from these two things everything else was amazing. I definitely want to come back but maybe stay in the hard domes with a kitchenette.
