“Was our first time here, It was nice, liked the cabin and the host was very nice. Fishing was good. No wash clothes but we had some.”

“The Playhouse was everything my dad and I could have asked for while in the area for a local fishing tournament. Bob and Karen are truly hosts that go above and beyond. The property and Playhouse are so cozy and peaceful. We’d love to stay again! ”

“We really enjoyed our stay at this property. It was clean and ready for us to settle in. There were plenty of bath towels, hand soap, dish soap, etc. The beds were comfortable and there were good amenities. Kitchen was well stocked. I'd recommend adding a cheese grater and measuring spoons though. :) There is a loft with 4 beds and a couple of couches. Great place for kids to hang. We loved the enclosed porch that faced the lake. Thanks! We'll be back!”

“Cowdry cabin and Hut worked perfectly for two couples getting away.The cabin to water proximity is perfect and flat.Plenty of and varied outdoor chairs to choose from and the lake is the show. Morning dancing dragonflies, loons and ducks, and spectacular sunsets.Cabin is charming and comfortable, plenty of space to spread out to read and relax or get together for meals and cards.I recommend to others looking for an Alexandria lake front stay. Host was very responsive to any questions and the……

“House was great it was clean even better than pictures. Has more than 1 fridge which having more people is a plus. Yard was flat to lake so easy access to the lake. Chuck and Debbie were great at responding to anything we had questions about, and they were very flexible on dates that had changed.Definitely stay there again and will also tell friends and family about this so they can have the same great experience we did.”

“Loved this property and plan to return again. It is perfectly appointed with everything you need. It looks small but it has nooks, hooks and baskets to put away all your things. The screen porch is wonderful. Swimming and boating right from the property and the lake is very clear. The host was very responsive to needs and concerns.”

“What an awesome cabin on lake Osakis! We had a group of 6 friends and had a great time. The cabin is clean and has plenty of room for everyone. Kids will LOVE staying here, there is a fun loft and they can fish right off the dock. There’s room to tie up your boat on the dock as well. The owner was very responsive and helpful with my questions. I highly recommend! ”
