“Friendly staff including one who formerly and by sheer coincidence worked at the good old boarding school I proudly attended years ago. Overall, I’m extremely impressed with everything including the high standards location and amenities. Cleanliness were very good apart from some surfaces needed a little dusting and one of the bedroom lamps didn’t work though again, overall the standards are extremely high and I’d certainly recommend future guests and I’d certainly return.”

“Could not fault it! We stayed in the orient room and were very impressed, the hot tub is nice and private also.”

“Everything was fine really. Just the carpets were very old and stained. Great breakfast and dinner was nice. Beds need a little upgrade.”

“Had a lovely time at Cross cottage. It was a lovely quiet location but only 5 min drive to Kirkby Lonsdale for restaurants pubs and shops. Great for all the Yorkshire dales hills and villages. Garden to the cottage was well maintained and relaxing. Good Wi-Fi and free sat too. Shower was super powerful . Always a bonus. Only improvement would be curtains over French doors now the darker nights are coming back for added privacy and cosy feel. Would definitely book again n this cottage and this……
