New York has Brooklyn Bridge, Carrbridge has Ellan Bridge. The bridge was built in the Summer of 1992 by Gurkha soldiers, I remember being at the opening of the bridge when I was 5 years old and seeing several strange looking soldiers drinking tins of beer 🍺

"Great cottage to rent with 2 bedrooms, comfortable living room with a fireplace, a fully equiped kitchen with exhaustive equipment, and a bathroom. The garden of the domain is cute, the area itself is very quiet, and the location is very well positioned to visit the highlands: Loc Ness, Cairngorms, the Sea, Speyside distilleries, Inverness: many beautiful spots are close by car. "We had an excellent stay here, facilities first class and location perfectly suited our needs. The rooms were spacious and comfy, and the garden is large and non-overlooked (aside from the odd walker in the woodlands above). Would highly recommend! "

"We enjoyed our trip and loved the accommodation. Our daughter had great fun out on the decking and we enjoyed the sunshine late into the evening. Perfect location for exploring the surrounding area and great communication with the host providing detailed directions to locate the property. Will defo look to book again!"

"The wonder that is Baddengorm. What a setting, what a great place for our stay in June and the weather behaved as well! Baddengorm is a wonderful property surrounded by Scots pines with a lovely burn bubbling through the grounds. Isolated, but not far from civilisation or the wonderful Cairngorms. A great place to relax and enjoy the company of good friends. We had a great stay. Add in the excellent meals from Speyside Kitchen and the holiday was perfect."

"Very friendly host, comfy bed and nice bathroom. Beams were a little low near the bed so remember to duck! Plenty on offer for continental breakfast including homemade bread. Due to covid we struggled finding places to eat however we were able to use the oven in the kitchen to heat up some food we bought from the nearby co-op. We visited the reindeer centre and it was amazing I thoroughly recommend this trip!"

"It was convenient because there’s a restaurant bar downstairs and a nice lounge area so when I got back from my tour, I didn’t have to walk anywhere to go eat and the continental breakfast in the morning was super convenient as well. check-in was easy. Staff was great offered helpful directions on how to find laundry and other items around the area. "

"Modern hotel a short walk away from the terminal and rental car facility at Inverness Airport. The room was clean and well-maintained. Staff are very friendly and happy to help out wherever possible. We arrived in a rental car, and left via the Inverness Airport rail station, which was a 15 minute walk via a paved path. Both options were convenient."
