It’s fine as a baseline motel. The place is run down, especially as compared to the neighborhood- hallway carpets were musty, but the room’s was ok. Their hospitality is also baseline… strict 10:30 checkout, etc. Minihaha falls is close, which is why I chose the spot, and there’s bus and transit a block away. It worked out, though I personally would expect a lower rate for the quality.

Disappointing from the time we checked in. The front desk person was annoyed to be working and was short with us. There were multiple things that I told her that she ignored and did the opposite of. We went to our first room and the smell of cleaning chemicals was so strong we had to go back down for them to give us a different room. Won’t be staying there again

The room was thoughtfully designed for a small room and was beautifully decorated. The onsite gym was well equipped and spacious. The bar/restaurant was delicious and well staffed. Only complaint, offsite self parking was a bit challenging, it was close but getting in and out of the garage on weekend required assistance from human versus automatic.

Wyndham doesn't require refrigerators or microwaves in the room- the man at the desk informed us. No coffee maker either, but the breakfast bar was available early in the morning. Smoke detector had been removed from our room prior to arrival. Staff was polite and helpful. Good location, but currently a lot of construction next door. Probably wouldn't stay again, but it was fine.
