"Had the best nights sleep. The hotel is in front of a park and a short distance to restaurants and the 9 Arches that overlook the city."

"We had a problem finding this because the name on the outside is Refugio Ecologica (not Hotel Terra). It is easy to find if you know to look for the flags outside.
Great location across from a park and set in from the road so nice and quiet. Room was really fresh and comfortable, with huge tv. Also huge showerhead.
The breakfast was a really nice buffet which changed in the two days we were there (really different than most hotels) and the dining area was outside under the hanging umbrellas....

"Lovely family run hotel. The owner made contact in advance and offered to book a taxi to pick us up from the airport which was great and gave us plenty of ideas for places to eat and drink"

"A stunning older venue, that in some areas has seen better days. The staff however are amazing and we're so helpful in organising transport, places to go. "

"Simple but solid property, pleasant and helpful staff, breakfast was great, well located, room was comfortable but lacked much of a view, comfortable and clean. I enjoyed my time overall and would return given the opportunity in the future. "

"Casona Moya is in a very good location in the centre, close yo shops and restaurants. The place is big and comfortable, the shower was hot and powerful. The kitchen has everything necessary and there is a large communal area with tables and chairs, table tennis, football and pool. The staff are friendly, helpful and flexible. Highly recommended."

"Centrally located in downtown Arequipa. Everything was walkable, safe, and easy to access. The breakfast options were delicious, but more variety would be nice. "

"I really appreciated the lady for the early check-in, especially being so tired. They also gave me city directions and prepared a to-go breakfast for my early departure. Thank you so much!"
"Great customer service! They held our bags while we went on Cola Canyon overnight hike. Had them ready in our room when we returned. Great location in pedestrian section of historic district. Made a breakfast to go for our early tour departure. Highly recommend!"
"Based ourselves here for 4 nights exploring Arequipa and around, and it couldn't have been better. Simple, clean, comfortable, and in a great location for the old town.
Staff were outstanding in their helpfulness, with reception staff in particular going out of their way to make us feel welcome. "
"La Hosteria hotel was a former french mansion. Beautiful touches of French decor are everywhere. The location was a very short walk to the square. There are many shops and restaurants nearby. We, unfortunately, where in a room next to the restaurant so there was noise early in morning as they prepared for breakfast. The room was cold at night, but we had warm comforters. They were able to store our luggage for a fee. "
"The location was great, only 2 blocks from the main plaza, historic monostary and close to several great restaurants. It had a nice terrace to sit and relax in the evening. We had a very early tour and they gave us a sack breakfast and stored our bags for a day between stays. The only negative would be the Wifi."

"I wanted to stay in Casa Andina but they didn't have a room for five so we booked one spacious room at this hotel the very last minute for 2 adults 3 kids. It was great. The hotel is close to the main Plaza and you can walk to stores, pharmacies, restaurants, places to book your tours. It has stairs and the front seat is in the second floor, our room was on the third floor.
You won't be able to pay for your stay on hotels dot com but in person when you get to the hotel. And if you "

"The location is simply best to explore Arequipa downtown. It is safe. Unfortunately the whole downtown area is not exempt from loud music in nearby discotheques on Friday and Saturday night - even up until almost 4 am. We would have liked earplugs."
"The hotel was an oasis or serenity in the busy historic district. The manager Cesar and the staff were true hospitality professionals. They all practiced a credo of service that strives to go above and beyond the expectations of the guest. Not a detail was overlooked! Congratulations to all of the staff and the management for their excellence in their operations. They truly made us feel at home."
"Most amazing stay at any hotel that we’ve been to. Have to ring their bell and wait for their staff to let us in. Totally enclosed property and only guests can dine there.
Rooms were comfortable, very quiet, can get coffee or food delivered to your room (no charge all inclusive), breakfast and dinner selections were plentiful, all delicious food.
We can’t rave enough about the staff. They make you feel like you’re part of their family.
We stayed 6 nights and could have stayed longer. "
"They gave me early check-in and late check-out at no additional cost. There are no minibars in the rooms, but I was able to use the hotel's refrigerator to store perishable food.
Excellent location. The staff was very attentive."
