"The property was a beautiful country home a near wonderful hiking trails and a short drive from either Valencia or Alicante. Our hosts (Macu and Jose Luis) were friendly, accommodating, and helpful. They provided maps and points of interest in the area and, although we would often return late in the evening, there was always someone awake to greet us upon our arrival. The website does definitely state its rural, so it warns you, but it does also mention that its just 2 buses from Alicante airport, and fails to mention the one hour and 10 minute walk from castalla to the hotel. Totally worth it, beautiful hotel to set up a retreat for yourself for a couple days, but people might struggle in the heat woth the walk if planning on taking buses"
