“If Mario is cooking then you know you’re in for a treat. Everyone was amazing to interact with and more than welcoming throughout the stay. The rooms were clean and spacious, the pool was warm, the staff were amazing and the food was some of these we had on our trip. Mario made us a dinner from scratch and it was much more than expected. Very quiet and relaxing area that has beautiful scenery in every direction. Mario set the bar extremely high for what we expected in the rest of the trip. We……

“We loved our room with big comfy bed and sitting with the shutters open late afternoon with the sunshine shining in around the flowers. It gave a real calm feeling. Great breakfast included, with easy access to local medieval villages and the thermal pools. We would stay again if we come back with friendly enough hosts. ”

“We had a great time staying at Marfisa. Rooms had a nice and modern setup. Pool access was fantastic and dining option was good to have. They welcome guests with the bottle of wine from their own winery- which was a nice gesture. Spa experience was also nice and relaxing. We would definitely recommend this place. “Beautiful grounds and environment, very idillic and scenic. We were able to catch a stunning sunset on the first night. However, the sunrise was blocked by a hill. The breakfast was decent with a good selection. The staff was friendly. We came in late March, so the grapevines were just stubs. Also, their Michelin restaurant was closed so we had to drive out to get dinner. Also none of the wine tours had started yet, and there were no free wine in the rooms (although you can purchase bottles)”
