Nice hotel with a good breakfast and friendly, helpful staff. Near the train and sits on an old town square. Just be aware that some of the nearby restaurants play load music into the early morning.

We had a nice visit to Kalmar and enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It is convenient to the train station as well as the central part of the city. The breakfast is delicious and the staff are so friendly and helpful.

Lots of constant street noise and having the windows closed didn’t help. Early morning delivery trucks and garbage trucks were really loud.
