Communication during the entire process was prompt, professional, and courteous. The property is stunning, the area beautiful and serene, and the people amazingly friendly. "Calico Jack's in a hidden gem in Belize! You really feel like you are in the jungle on their lush grounds. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and they clearly care about their guests. We loved the activities they offer, such as the zip lining only a 10 min walk from our room. Be sure to stay for breakfast and order the Stuffed Fry Jacks, they were the best we had in Belize! Our room was perfect for our large family and included three separate bedrooms and two full bathrooms. The roads leading to Calico Jack's are a bit all terrain, so we recommend AWD to get there in the rainy season. "

"Wow! Is all that really can be said. The natural beauty of this hotel are what other places spend thousands of dollars trying to recreate. Located on the river banks with nothing else in sight, thoughtfully manicured grounds giving way to the Belizean jungle. You truly can feel away from it all. The hotel offers a lot to do on-site as well canoeing on the river, mini golf, a swimming pool, spa services, hikes around the property and a good restaurant with bar. And they can also set you up for a tour to any one attractions in the area. The staff goes out of their to meet the needs of their guests. We stayed in the Owner's Suite on the far end of all the bungalows with the jetted tub on the balcony style patio overlooking the river. Totally private with a wide open view of the river and nothing else but nature to look. Amazing, highly recommend."
