"Every detail was attended to. The cottage was so new and clean with all the conveniences and no clutter. Poor Matlacha got hit hard by the hurricane BUT it felt great to support the local businesses as they recover and to come home to our cottage and spa/pool on the water. Just LOVED it!"

"My husband and I spent 40 nights at this cottage. We had an overall good experience. This quaint old place was clean with the exception of a few ants. The appliances, including air conditioning (and heat) all worked. The unit had some broken blinds in the smaller bedroom. I mentioned this via text to our host Allen when we first arrived. "I wanted to get as close as I could to Bowman’s Beach and Blind Pass to go shell collecting. For the price this was a gem. I was able to do my daily walks at 5am collecting shells and be back for breakfast/brunch with my husband. Couldn’t walk on the beach to Blind Pass, have to walk on bike trail. So if you’re interested in shell collecting this spot was very good. You get a beach pass to park at the Trade Winds parking lot which was empty most of the time. "We really enjoyed our time here. The house is in a great location with plenty of privacy. We had a lot of fun using the kayaks, and the closeness of the put-in was great. Well stocked with everything we needed - even a stacked washer/dryer. Has a homey feel as another reviewer said. There is a grocery store nearby and a good amount of restaurants around. "If the house were any closer to the water it would be in the ocean. Lovely, comfortable deck - perfect to watch the waves and sunbathe in the afternoons. Property Mgr was quite attentive and called to check on us during a thunderstorm. When trying to figure out the kitchen situation, we were NOT told about the induction cook top surface with 4 burners. This info needs to be added to the description. Makes it much easier for meal planning."

Its located close to many conveniences in downtown Cape Coral. The property manager was very accomodating with my requests. If I’m in the area anytime, I will definitely return to this property."
