“We had a difficult time locating the property based on the location included in Expedia. The host did send directions via WhatsApp. However, I did not check that until we were already in the wrong location. The host was very accommodating and actually drove to us and guided us to the property. Ana, the host was very nice and accommodating. We opted for the breakfast which compared to sodas In the area was reasonably priced. The host recommended betos restaurant and it did not disappoint.……

“My unit was clean and host was responsive and very kind! Everything was cozy and I felt very comfortable. The only difference is there was no full stove and oven it is a hot plate. I was able to cook meals fine but did expect a full stove as pictured. Other than than it was comfy, had a great balcony view, and wonderdul host and host family. I would definitely stay again. Also, there are a few local stores that are in walking distance that I loved exploring and getting necessties from. :)”

“Marianne (zelf ook Nederlands van oorsprong) heeft ons zeer gastvrij verwelkomt. We waren blij verrast met ons verblijf. Behoorlijk ruim, grote bedden,complete keuken, nette badkamer, heerlijke douche! Ligging is prachtig met uitzicht op de Arenal Vulkaan. Marianne heeft ons gezin ook meegenomen om vuurvliegjes te bekijken vlakbij de accommodatie! Dit was echt GEWELDIG! kenden we alleen van tv.. Elke ochtend werd er een ontbijtje gebracht...wat een luxe! Wij voelden ons hier zeer welkom,veilig……

“Not at all what we reserved here on expedia, not even the same place, no views of the volcano. We paid for a little apartment with a king bed and parking and we got a double bed with no parking. The street was hard to park on, there wasn’t any place. It was clean and comfortable, the people were nice and welcoming, but it wasn’t what we paid for.”

A friendly, knowledgeable proprietor who will help you enjoy the area. Great views of sunsets over the Gulf of Nicoya. Made our trip a joy.”
