Clean place to stay at. Probably a good option for any time of the year. THe coffee in the morning from next door was decent but we had to wait more than 20 mins to get it. They said the restaurant is open from 7am but it was not. THere are walking distance options for food and the Segway is very close

The room was average for $250/night. The chairs in the room were uncomfortable. The TV in the room was small with poor picture clarity. The room was clean and the staff was excellent!

Great location. Room was spacious and clean. The only complaint I had was a barking dog directly below us in the middle of the night and very early in the morning.

We were just swinging through on our way to San Francisco and needed a quick place to crash and I didn’t check the reviews first. The hotel was comically bad, with old grime in the windowsills and furniture that looked like it had been found in the street. Bathroom rack was broken, no soap or shampoo or coffee. The floorboards were held together with a sticky tar, and the room had been completely painted over, including the plugs and switches and parts of the door. The guy at the desk was nice enough, but if you were trying to put together “crummy hotel” this is what it would look like. I didn’t see any of the cockroaches, but others were complaining about, and in terms of functionality we were able to sleep, but as others have pointed out, it’s in a terrible neighborhood and even though we came in late, there were shady characters hanging out on walkways and sleeping in cars in the parking lot - definitely the bad side of town. It does seem like people are reviewing these reviews, so if you want to do something about it, even just changing out the plate covers for a few bucks, fixing the broken fixtures and basic general maintenance would really spruce the place up. It was about the same price as a motel six but it didn’t meet that basic standard of a room you would feel comfortable sleeping in.
