We planned for this place on the last day of our vacation to stay as it had a pool and Hot tub. We wanted a relaxing evening before a long day of driving the next day. When we arrived and got checked in, we went to look at the pool/hot tub area to find out the hot tub was down. Our air conditioner did not work in our room either.

Our check in was incredibly smooth and very much appreciated. Thank you for that! I wasn't aware that we would need more towels until I was stepping into the shower. (Check the number of towels in your room before getting naked.) Breakfast in the morning was less than dismal. There was nothing hot (although we could have made our own waffle). There was cereal and milk, some bread for toast, the coffee was barely warm -- so if a hotel is going to offer breakfast, there really should actually BE breakfast available. (And when the clerk was alerted to the meager offerings by another guest, she was not overly accommodating and barely looked up from whatever it was she was working on -- not a good impression).

First room offered was terrible - unbearable smell coming out of the bathroom. Supposedly everything was ok when they cleaned the room in the morning, so we were told. Hmm … Second room was ok. Breakfast room seems to be a challenge for the team. Only one person, not able to keep all food trays, coffee thermos, and water station filled and ready at all times, especially on Sunday mornings. Didn’t really help overcoming very close train tracks with two trains running by during the night and honking their horns at street crossings.
