The service and accommodations of this hotel is fantastic. My family was traveling in Nicaragua for a week and this was the last portion of our trip, we had a 12:45 am flight the following day. Everyone had a bad case of stomach flu....especially my 5 year old daughter. This historic building was beautiful, spacious, and tranquil. There aren't many rooms, so even though it was full when I stayed there, it did not feel like a busy hotel. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The only warning is that the pool (the first ever built in Granada, I'm told) is very shallow. Superb hotel echoes the colonial grace of the city of Granada and the life of the Spanish grandees. Felt pampered and looked after. Only there one night but would be pleased to return for a week. Friends stayed elsewhere for about the same price which offered facilities for infants, which this hotel does not. Both were lovely places near town centre. For us, this was ideal, though regretted no time for the pool.

Do not judge it from the exterior overall if you travel in Granada in this period (May 2017) as there are a lot of roadwork and the street is dusty and dirty. Inside it is a beautiful pearl. The interior of the room is a piece of art. Tiles are different from room to room. Pool is large and the space for the breakfast in the interior garden is bright and breeze with trees and plants.
