"The chateau is such a gem. Situated in a huge park on the Loue it provides tranquility and style without being over the top. You won’t find any Ikea furniture. There’s plenty of kitchenware and a vast array of board games. All our group spent a wonderful week at this very special place. Thank you very much!"

"We and friends (total 4 adults) stayed five nights in the Old Winery/A House on the Loue. And it is: perhaps 30 meter walk from the river wall, with views from the apartment. Pictures are accurate -- the apartments are fully and engagingly decorated, baths are large and functional, and the kitchen is modern and mostly complete, with the use of the lovely gardens. Lucie et Jacques sont vraiment des gens agréables et sympathiques. le Gite est très bien équipé, il ne manque rien et tout est parfaitement rangé et adapté pour un séjour agréable. "Our main goal this summer was to go off the grid, relax and enjoy the quiet. This area will help to achieve that for sure. The house and beautifull garden gives you the tranquility. In the house you will find everything you basically need, aswell in the garden department. We haven’t used the cano, but there is one! And if you are lucky you will see the otter that lives right next to the garden. If you like to hike there are a lot of beautifull routes nearby."

"This motel-style place is quite worn and in need of re-furbishment. August- restaurant closed but bar drinks available! Sitting on the terrace was like sitting in a dirty ashtray- smelled terrible. Room was basic but bed was clean. Reception on arrival very helpful. Unfortunately in the morning area smelled of cannabis. Would not stay here again "

"Don't stay at this hotel! We chose this place because we wanted a little more comfort, even though there's a cheaper option right next door. We were given a room without a working shower because the water wouldn't drain. We couldn't contact the front desk because no one was there, and the phone numbers provided didn't answer. We had to use all the towels to save the room from flooding. My husband diligently cleaned the shower drain, removing about half a pound of fluff. (Where is the management here? Why don't they check the rooms?!) We went to bed without a shower (because we had no dry and clean towels left) at 1:30 am., and at 6:30 a.m., we were woken by the crew working on the hotel expansion (6:30 a.m.!!!). "
