"Kitchen and floors were not clean at all. Food still stuck to cutlery and dirty glasses. Grubby work tops. Lots of cobwebs in the house, which is due to lack of cleaning. Bed & bathroom were clean enough. No mirrors in any of the rooms, we had to share 1 mirror in the landing between 5 girls which isn’t that great. To be honest if you’re not overly fussy or care where you stay it’s a great location and quiet village. "

"Super cute, like being in your own romantic little bubble in the countryside. We came to watch a friend do a parachute jump at the airfield for charity. It was the perfect place to stay for a night or two. Loved the BBQ, the view through the windows and the way the space was designed. So compact and yet everything was so considered and well designed. Free wifi strength good comfy bed could do with more firm pillows thought but that's just my taste. "Had a lovely stay at Windsor cottage. Well presented, great amenities and the most comfortable bed in the master bedroom. Slept like a log! Ate out in local restaurants, which were lovely especially Alberto’s Italy. There are a couple of free parking areas in town 5-10 minutes away. During our stay there was a film set in place for Father Brown and a restriction at the end of the road. It didn’t take away from our stay, but was glad of the premier inn parking just a 100m away. "Everything about our stay was excellent. The apartment is 3 flights up but a gentleman met us on arrival to carry our luggage up. We cannot thank Alain for her excellent service in making sure that our stay was good. The apartment is furnished to a high standard and was spotlessly clean. We were supplied with basic foods/drinks tea/coffee, milk etc. which was a nice touch. DVDs were supplied as well as Netflix. We enjoyed the apartment so much we hope to be back next year."

"The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. The hotel was easy to find and had onsite parking. The room was comfortable and clean. We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed every moment. The breakfast was well organised with plenty of choice and the cooked breakfast was cooked to order on week days but help yourself buffet on the weekend though this was kept warm and well replenished. There is a good pool with sauna and steam room which we made full use of. The hotel is in a good location by the river with a 5 minute walk over the bridge to the town centre. The Christmas lights were on and everywhere looked spectacular. Our first real visit to the town having previously only having a brief stopover on our way through. Looking forward to our next visit. "
