“It was very conveient to be able to walk to the hotel from the train station on arrival. The staff were exceptionally friendly and service oriented. I was pleased with the size and cleaniless of the room. Glad there was extra blankets as Shimla does get cold. Mornings i enjoyed having the breakfast options, paratha and chai and scrambled eggs got me going for the day!”

“I loved the experience. The staff very helpful specially lakshay at front desk. He allowed us to do early check in because they had the room available. I liked the food we ordered. The location of the hotel is fantastic. It’s in main Shimla. Few steps away from Oberoi Cecil. We took the room with valley view and really enjoyed the stay. I love the architecture of the property. The way it’s built is cute and impressive. ”

“Bedsheets had holes, Hotel is very down and we need to go down a steep passage to reach hotel. 25 minutes from Shimla Railway Station. 15 Minutes from Mall Road.”

“Fantastic location but very difficult to find as Hotels.com reported it as being in Shimla, rather than the reality of being 20km distant. Also not so impressed after difficult 16 hour journey from Delhi (holiday traffic and minor landslips following monsoon rain) to be told at midnight by reception that there was no booking. Strength of following 'discussion' eventually proved we did indeed have a booking. Rooms and hotel facilities very tired now when once must have been special. But still...

“The hotel staff is pathetic. After reaching to hotel, they informed us that hotel is completely full and there is no room. Even after having confirmation they didn’t keep our room. Moreover they denied any help and asked us to talk to Expedia. The worst property. It is very far and off route of main Shimla. Route is not safe and stay is difficult as it takes lot of time to reach hotel”

“First They said, they don't book through expedia. Then they moved me some other location in Kufri which 1.25 hour apart. After 1 day stay, they said, I have to move further. then I canceled my stay after spending 3 hours on call with Expedia and Hotel sales team. ”

“Muy mala experiencia, personal descortés y nada amigable. La habitación era doble y sólo había toallas y jabón para una persona. Shimla es muy frío por la noche y NO hay calefacción si no pagas extra, con ventanas y puertas donde entra el frío. Sólo había una manta y al pedir una más, se negaron a darla. La reserva incluía 'desayuno inglés' y nos pusieron un huevo frito y unas tostadas de mantequilla, nada que ver con lo que uno espera de un 'desayuno inglés'”
