Castillos en Châlons-en-Champagne

“Charmant hotel in de binnenstad van Chalon en Champagne. Er is parkeergelegenheid achter het hotel, wel krap. Goed ontbijt en mooie superior kamers. De basic kamers zijn minder, erg krap. Ontbijt ruimte is klein en de tafels worden te laat afgeruimd.”

“Le Mas Champenois was a little oasis in the middle of Chalons. The owners were lovely and the house was spotless. The pool was a wonderful spot to start the day or unwind. Breakfast was perfect. Intimate and quite spot walkable to town about 30 minutes and easy drive. We parked on the street for 3 night with no problems.”

“We stayed here only one night, but it was a very pleasant stay. Couple of things though. According to the menu outside, and in the room, lunch can be served at the hotel or in the room. However, when we asked if we could have lunch (after we arrived around 14.00 hours) we were told we could not, there was no lunch service (I checked the times on the menu, it should still have been possible). We were then directed to a nearby commercial center with restaurants, most of which seemed to be closed...

“Pésimo servicio. Reservé una habitación no fumador, y la que me dieron apestaba a tabaco, con un olor insoportable. Llegué a las 22:30 y ya no había nadie en la recepción (a pesar de que dicen que tienen recepción 24 horas). Por tanto, no había nadie a quien reclamar. Por la mañana tampoco había nadie. La habitación estaba sucia (como todo el hotel) y medio destartalada. ”

“Appartement très agréable,bien aménagé. Bien situé. A recommander Le seul bémol est qu il a fallut que ce soit moi qui contacte l hôte pour obtenir les directives pour rentrer ds l appartement a quelques heures de mon arrivée.”

“The property was as described! As travellers exploring France for 2 weeks, we loved the attention to detail and the extras that were provided. It made it feel like home! A heads up that the lock on the front door to the building is located near the bottom of the door and it's a little finicky. Otherwise the check in process was smooth! We'd definitely recommend this apartment!”
