“First this the Coronado golf club per the sign at the front gate. When security was questioned about if this was the same place he did not know. So my driver followed the map you furnished which took us to the beach. No "hotel". Then called the number furnished by you only to be told Coronado golf club had my reservation. On arrival was immediately told if there is any problem with the building I would have to take it up with the owner, the management was only responsible for front desk and……

“Staff were very welcoming and helpful! Room was basic, but adequate for a one night stay and A/C worked great. Many restaurants and shops in close proximity to the property. Was a nice touch to see towel swans on our bed upon arrival!”

“Anne Marie and Rene are the perfect hosts! They share their home in a warm way - including poolside relaxation, wonderful breakfast, and recommendations on what to do/see during your visit. Our room (ensuite bath) was spacious and comfortable. Beautiful Playa Coronado is 1km (.6 mile) walk. I highly recommend staying at El Litoral if you will visit Coronado.”

“The pool and view are awesome. Sadly, this hotel clearly has slid into disrepair. There were at least 30 mosaic tiles loose on the shower floor--one cut my foot. The walls looked like a 12 year old did the painting--so much paint on the beautiful tiles, ceiling, door trim. Doing a nice job on the paint would have cost almost nothing, so sad! Hundreds of tiny ants crawling around the porch slider. Electricity out both nights. Second night from midnight to after 10 am--so no ac, running……
