Judy, the host, was so wonderful and hospitable. The hotel itself is absolutely beautiful. It is in a prime location. Very walkable. There are grocery stores, pharmacies, and shops within walking distance.

We stayed at Casa Modiano for 3 nights during our stay in Chania. Loved the service and the restaurant was amazing. She asked if we would be down for breakfast but told her we were leaving early in the morning. They packed us a lunch the night before because we couldn’t make breakfast. Would definitely recommend this spot!

This is one of our favorite hotels in Europe!!! It’s clean modern, spacious, walking distance to everything! Great options for breakfast. Our host Judy is the BEST!!! Highly recommend this hotel if you’re staying in Palermo.

Amazing staff, easy communication. Rooms are relaxing, beautiful with comfortable bed and pillows. Location is the best! Near old town but still very quiet. Highly recommended

We had such an amazing experience at Casa Modiano. I would absolutely return again. Staff was so kind and friendly and Judy the hostess was so kind, caring and so welcoming and so hospitable! George the owner was also very kind to bring our bags up.

It is a great location, newly renovated, with super friendly and helpful staff. The included breakfast at the sister cafe each morning was a highlight. The only downside is the parking situation, there is no dedicated parking because it is in the oldtown and parking in that area is extremely difficult, but it did not mar the experience at the hotel at all.

I ended up staying at Casa Modiano for over a week and was able to stay in several rooms. Room 5 with a couch was my favorite because it was a bit more spacious but all three rooms I had were lovely. Great decor, incredible location, delicious breakfast. Loved sitting on the balcony sipping wine, feeling the breeze off the ocean and writing. Near everything but one street removed from the waterfront noise. Much more charming.

Lovely room on main floor perfect for us folk who don't want to climb stairs. Big comfortable bed. Beautiful walk in shower. Cable tv with Greek and English channels plus Netflix if you have an account. Great communication with the staff. Within walking distance of all the restaurants and shopping. Glad they accommodated us in the off season.
