Experience the authentic Cretan landscape in a bright, peaceful 52 sq.m. apartment with a spacious balcony and breathtaking views of the sea, Souda Bay, the port, and the White Mountains. Garden of Zephyrus offers a space for relaxation, inspiration, and reconnection with nature — perfect for couples, families, artists, and remote workers.

The Garden of Zephyrus is a fully equipped, furnished apartment, part of a larger residence built on a rocky hillside overlooking Souda Bay, within a private 4-acre property at 300 meters above sea level.

Part of the furniture is hand-designed and handcrafted by the owner, while the apartment is decorated with original artworks of our own creation, resulting in an authentic, warm space with a distinct artistic character.

Ideal base for exploring Chania and the surrounding area

Giorgos was very welcoming and helpful, the property was spacious and well appointed. The location was very quiet. The views were stunning. Sunrise worth getting up for. Would book again.

Worth a look

Great views, easy access to airport, Souda and Chania. Owner on site in case of problems which will be unlikely. Well supplied with kitchen gadgets. Home from home

Spacious apartment, outstanding views

A large, one bedroom apartment close to Chania and many other places on western Crete. There are beautiful views of the sea and mountains from every window and the outside terrace. The owner was very pleasant and helpful. As we wanted to cook our meals he immediately provided several items that were initially missing such as oven gloves, kitchen scissors, BBQ tools. A car is essential for this location - it would not be easy to try and walk as there are no pavements. We had a lovely relaxing week.

Verkehrsgünstige Wohnung mit Traumblick

Unser Gastgeber hat uns herzlich mit Gebäck empfangen und uns mit Infos versorgt. Die gut ausgestattete Wohnung liegt zwischen Chania und dem Flughafen. Der Blick von der Terrasse auf die Bucht von Souda ist traumhaft. Die Flugzeuge hört man kaum, die oberhalb gelegene Durchgangsstraße schon etwas. Mückenmittel sollte man für die Terrasse dabei haben, die Wohnung hat aber Fliegengitter. Das Doppelbett hat eine Matratze und leider nur eine Zudecke. Ein Mietwagen ist unentbehrlich und kann auf dem Grundstück abgestellt werden. Die Wohnung eignet sich gut, wenn man tagsüber mit dem Wagen Ausflüge macht und den Abend auf der Terrasse genießt.

Wunderbarer Blick über die Bucht von Souda

Das Apartment ist modern und ansprechend eingerichtet. Der Standort ist hervorragend, da man sowohl Chania als auch super Strände in kurzer Zeit mit dem Auto erreichbar sind. Giorgos steht in jeder Situation mit Rat und Tat zur Seite.

Ein Traum mit spektakulärem Ausblick

Die Wohnung mit eigenem Eingang ist sauber und modern, sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Der Gastgeber ist herzlich und locker. Wir haben von ihm viele Umgebungstipps und Antworten auf unsere Fragen bekommen. Der Ausblick von der Terrasse auf die Bucht und den Hafen von Souda ist spektakular. Wir bereisen Griechenland immer mit einem Mietwagen. Der Standort ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt, um die Insel zu erkunden. Es gibt aber auch Traumstrände in der Nähe. Die Entfernungen zur wunderschönen Altstadt und zum Flughafen von Chania sind unschlagbar. Wir waren 3 Stunden vor dem Abflug noch im Wasser. Danke Giorgos :-) !!!

Ferienwohnung mit traumhaften Ausblick

Wir hatten eine schöne und erholsame Zeit in dem Apartment. Das Apartment ist sehr gepflegt und bietet alles was man zum täglichen leben benötigt. Wir haben das Frühstück und vor allem auch die Abende auf der Terrasse sehr geliebt. Der Ausblick auf die Bucht von Souda und die Berge ist ein Traum. Giorgos ist ein sehr guter Gastgeber. Immer hilfsbereit, wenn man ihn braucht. Er hat gute Tipps für Ausflüge. Eine klare Empfehlung.

Magical Setting in Pithari

We had such a great stay in Pithari that we would highly recommend to anyone considering visiting the island of Crete to stay at Giorgas’s apartment. It’s less than ten minutes from Chania by car and ten minutes from the airport. We arrived after 11 pm via the ferry and Giorgas had a morning starter kit for us which included coffee, pastry, and fruits. Thank you

Apartment with beautiful view, well located

Apartment with a great view over the bay and to the white mountains, easily accessible. You can reach Chania quickly by car, but also the highway and thus explore easily the western part of Crete. The apartment is as described. Giorgos is a friendly host who provided us with helpful advice. We didn’t miss anything and enjoyed our stay in Crete very much.

Schöne Ferienwohnung mit tollem Blick

Wir haben uns in der Ferienwohnung sehr wohl gefühlt und haben sowohl die Gegend als auch den Blick von der Terrasse auf das Meer und die Berge genossen. Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet. Giorgos ist ein super Gastgeber, der einem viele hilfreiche und gute Tipps für Ausflüge und Restaurants in der Umgebung geben kann. Er hat uns mit einem kleinen Snack zum Abendessen gegrüßt und uns mit Kräutern versorgt, also wir erkältet waren. Auch seine Familie war super nett. Man kann jederzeit Fragen stellen, kann aber auch vollkommen seine Ruhe haben. Insgesamt ein wirklich schöner Aufenhalt. Danke an Giorgos und seine Familie!

Fabulous property with great views.

Our host Giorgos was excellent, he was very welcoming and gave us helpful information and tips to get the best experience from our holiday. The apartment was very clean and well equipped with everything that we needed for our 12 night stay. There were also nice touches such as beach towels and a beach parasol being available to use, a lovely bowl of fruit, tea, coffee and essentials available upon arrival as well as some local honey and Raki to try out. The apartment is well located for the airport, Chania and the major road network which makes it easy to get around to see and do all the things you want. There are plenty of shops, restuarants and cafés nearby and Giorgos has info of he best places to go. I would highly recommend this apartment to any of my friends, just the views alone are fantastic, mountains and glistening sea at the same time! I could go on and on . . . Thanks Giorgos, from Nigel and Catrina :-)

Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Giorgos et son épouse. Il nous a très bien conseillé sur les sites à visiter, les restaurants et commodités alentours. Nous nous sommes sentis comme chez nous. L'appartement est très bien équipé avec une terrasse très agréable où nous avons pris tous nos repas. Il y fait toujours bon et la vue y est magnifique. Les plages et criques ne sont pas très loin. Encore un grand merci à Giorgos pour son accueil des plus chaleureux.

Superbe appartement, je recommande vivement!

Nous avons été très bien accueillis, le propriétaire nous a offert des produits locaux, a pris le temps de nous conseiller sur des activités à réaliser et sur les endroits à visiter. Le cadre est superbe, l'appartement très propre et conforme aux photos, très bien équipé, la vue est exceptionnelle. A 15 minutes seulement du centre ville de La Canée, adresse top, au calme. Je recommande vivement!
