Complete luxury with a setting in the hill/mountains of the Douro valley that is right out of movie setting. Friendly helpful staff always eager to help. The room was luxurious, the included breakfast was just out of this world. Off season prices made this incredible place even better! The only reason I gave it 5 starts was because 6-7-8 were not available!”

“The staff was amazing and the facility was spacious and clean anywhere we went. There were great spaces to releax by the pool, enjoy breakfast, and sun. The staff was extremely helpful and offered to book a win tasting tour nearby which was such a pleasant experience. I would come back to stay if I were in the area.”

Sie gibt Tipps, hilft bei der Tagesplanung. Die Verständigung klappt auf Englisch. Der Blick aus meinem Zimmer (2. OG) und von der Frühstücks-Terrasse ging bis auf die Nossa Senhora dos Remédios/über den Ort. Zentrumsnah, kostenloses Parken nach 19: 00 h und auf großem Parplatz in der Nähe. Alles gut zu Fuß erreichbar.”

“Its a great experience living in the barrel. Every customer staying there include one wine tasting tour, understand more about Port wine. However, moving there or other spots might possibly need to drive. No public transport reaching the area.”
