Loved the hotel, staff knowledgeable and friendly. Room well done , except needs a small desk or shelf to place cell phone and wallet etc. Breakfast was good, buffet not available due to Covid but was served well and requests were an option. Hotel was re-opened in the last 2 years after extensive restoration keeping the character of the “Original Douro Hotel”
