"We enjoyed the area. The chalet was well equipped unfortunately everything you touched was really greasy. The cooker top was discussing. We only used the fridge and kettle throughout our stay thankfully I had mugs with us. Lots of cobwebs and spiders and a slug or snail across the carpet every night. To enter the bathroom you had to go in sideways. The sink was full of shaver hairs and shaving foam the toothbrush holder hadn't been cleaned for months. The toilet brush would have made you sick...

"When i booked the property i was under the impression that the price on hotels.com was the price. We then had to pay extra for the dogs, extra for bedding and extra for electricity used. It would have been better if this was in the details of the booking before you confirm. When people are on a budget this could be hard for them. The beds were made perfect and the rooms have everything you need in them so there's no need to pack too much on you're trip Warm and cosy, easy parking too although you can walk to most shops as its in walking distance Honestly didn't want to leave, will definitely be booking again in the future. "I have stayed at this resort many times and it always serves me well. Set in beautiful grounds on a lovely golf course with splendor of wildlife, landscape and flora, even the hardest to please couldn't crack a frown at this retreat. The building is charmed in character, the staff at utmost professional and efficient, the spa, pool and gym facilities are second to none. As for the rooms, they are spacious, nicely decorated and furnished to high standards with full AC and blacked out curtains, the restaurant is lovely and the bar and adjoining garden area where you can also eat is well manicured and has a fantastic vista. You will not be disappointed and the vfm is incredible."

"Room size was very good, we stayed in a twin room. Lovely walk in shower room. Everything we needed for a 1 night stay. Tea and coffee making facilities. Only downside was there's not a mini fridge in the room. Lovely and clean and we will definitely be staying again. Excellent value for the money] money and plenty of free parking. Much closer to the town centre than we had anticipated. Great stay thank you "
