We had an amazing experience. Owners were so friendly to our family & children! Definitely will stay here again the next time we are coming to town to visit family! Great walking distance to stores and the square. Place was clean, spacious and inviting and had all the necessities.

Relaxing Memorial Day Retreat
Our family of five greatly enjoyed our stay in Chardon especially as this house is within walking distance to a number of nice restaurants. The front porch with rocking chairs, the children’s games, and the cozy reclining chairs were highlights for our children. The laundry room, nicely equipped kitchen, and cozy bedrooms were just right. Definitely recommend!

Cozy cottage walkable to shopping and restaurants
We stayed here with our four kids for over two weeks. It was well equipped, and lots of points of interest in walking and even more within short driving distance. The property owners live next door and were friendly, helpful, and available whenever we needed them.

Great Place to Stay in Chardon
Wow. What a wonderful place to stay. We (my brother, sister and my wife) brought our elderly mom back to Chardon to visit the Maple festival after being away nearly 50 years. We grew up in the Chardon area and moved to Florida years ago. We had a great time. I can think of no better place to stay in Chardon. The Maple cottage was more than big enough for the five of us, with room to spare. The kitchen had everything we needed and there was plenty of space to just sit and talk as a family. The front porch was a great place to just watch the people walk by and was so serene with a cup of coffee in the morning. The cottage was spotless. The neighborhood was so peaceful with all the stores and restaurants close by. We will definitely be visiting again. We just loved the place. Thanks for being such great hosts.

Great Place
This was our 2nd time staying at this home. Location is great and it works out so well for us when visiting our family who lives in and around the Chardon area. It's nice too bc after a long day of driving all of our Ohio family can come to us with their families and we can order in, cook ourselves and while the house is full of family, it fits us all and everyone has a great time being able to be together.

Another amazing stay!
Owners have outdone themselves yet again. We enjoy staying at this rental when in town with family. The location is incredible and safe. Everything you need is close by: walking/running paths, grocery stores, restaurants and fast food, an accommodating gym within walking distance, a quaint downtown just a quarter mile up the street and even a Starbucks. The home is well kept, very clean, easily accessible. It’s our prime choice when in town and will be for many trips to come. I enjoyed running into the owner as we packed to leave. She was kindhearted and genuinely cares about the property, her residents/vacationers and it shows. Thank you again. See you on down the road!

The house was comfortable and clean. The property owners do a great job maintaining this property. We were in the area preparing for our family reunion and this was a great place to relax and unwind after a succession of busy days. There are many nearby stores and restaurants.We explored several nearby county parks. There is good highway access to and from Cleveland's airport.

Amenities, great beds, and location
My family of 6 enjoyed this location very much and all the beds were very comfortable! My husband is 6’4” and was able to fit within the footboard and headboard of the bed frames! Linens were also some of the cleanest I’ve stayed on in a rental. The home was very clean. We didn’t cook anything (except in the microwave) but there are pots and pans and utensils available. The TV and movie selection were great! Communication with the owners was very good as well! Another one of my favorites parts was the bikes (and helmets) available to us. Five of us rode down a pedestrian&bike trail through the woods and over a covered bridge. There is an air pump on-site if needed. Parking was easy, spacious (enough for two cars), and clearly marked on the driveway. Location is close enough to walk to the Chardon Square, Starbucks, and places to eat. We’ll be returning next time we are in the area!

Summer trip back home
Great location for our trip back home to see family and friends. It’s so nice to have our own place as a home base! The property is in a perfect location near the square for shopping and dining. Hosts are super responsive and the house is clean and cozy. Will definitely stay again!
