Great house on the beach

The house is amazing. Very comfortable. Lots of space. Perfectly situated inside of Kiawah in Vanderhorst plantation. Quiet neighborhood and a quick 2 minute walk down the boardwalk to the beach. We will definitely return!

Outstanding location, ocean view and access to beach.

Property provides easy access to beach and great ocean views from huge deck. Lost power one day and property managers were unreachable. Repeated calls, nothing but voicemail. Messages were never answered. No return calls. Finally repaired by city electrical service after calling an emergency maintenance number. Good internet and is a good gathering accommodation for a family.

Stayed at the Treehouse over Christmas to celebrate our 50th ann

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is very spacious and the kitchen had all the things we needed. That being said, we did have issues with the master suite. We had a couple of rainy days and the wall of windows facing the ocean leaked quite profusely. We had to put out plastic bowls to catch the water. We also use towels brought to us by property management.The jacuzzi in the master didn't work. We were surprised that since the leak was so bad, that is hadn't been dealt with before. We also were surprised there was no adjustment for the stay based on what we had to do to protect property and that our clothes in the suitcases had to be lifted to off the ground. If you rent his property be sure to ask if these issues have been resolved. There were a few bugs but I think this is a beach thing.

Loved the upstairs living area and the view was incredible. Beach access was so easy with having the boardwalk straight to the sand. One thing I may recommend- send a crew through the the sand between end of boardwalk and beach to remove sand spur plants!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a perfect location for a family vacation at Kiawah Island! There are tons of stairs but an elevator available in the house. The home is in need of overall maintenance. Dishwasher didn’t clean dishes, dirty dishes in cabinets, faucet handles falling off, leaking faucets , smelly shower drains, no light in refrig , handles on ventahood falling off, boardwalk to beach a bit overgrown. and just generally not in good shape for $11,000 a week.

Wonderful time with family

Loved the beach view and the sound of the waves from the beautiful porch. Wished there was an umbrella on the table on the porch due to full sun all day, but we LOVED the house and porch.

An Amazing Oasis within an Oasis

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Perfect. Our own boardwalk to the beach and it truly is a "Treehouse." A lot to exercise. About 200 steps a day. Beautiful views. ESPM staff (Crystal) was amazingly responsive. Absolutely the only issue was with the grill. The ignition didn't work. ESPM provided long lighters, but I had to remove the very dirty grill in order to light them. Very messsy. Everything else was magical.

Nice stay

Definitely recommend. Well outfitted with linens, kitchen place settings, and cooking needs. A few leftover spices in kitchen would have been a plus. Who remembers spices?

Beach Gem on Kiawah Island

This spacious, well-kept beach home is every bit of what is advertised. The enormous deck, kitchen, dining room and living room all have ocean views and a walk on the beach is just down the private boardwalk. The $300 credit for bike and beach equipment rentals really came in handy since our family biked to markets, tennis and pickle ball courts on the well-maintained bike paths. Thank you for an amazing stay for people ranging from their 20s to nearly 60. We look forward to returning!

Great property

We rented the house for a guys golf weekend and it was perfect. Plenty of room, very nice inside and out, private boardwalk down to the beach, amazing views, and a short drive to all the courses on the island. We loved it and would definitely stay there again.

Happy Times in the TreeHouse

This house on Kiawah Island is perfect for a group of couple friends. Every room has its own screened in porch and the house is large enough to spread out but cozy enough to sit in small groups or one large group. The dining room table seats 8 adn we had great food, drink and laughter there.
