“Our hosts Carole and Ousmane were lovely. The property is homely and very comfortable. We were there for 2 nights and had dinner there on the first night as we were out for the second night. They made us lovely home made pizzas which were thoroughly enjoyed in the outdoors with a beautiful bottle of rose wine.
Ousmane is the main cook and we tasted some of his home creations in the form of some chilli sauce and some conserves over breakfast.
The location is fantastic if you are visiting Zoo……

The location is good with enough evening options.
The room was clean and perfect for our overnight stay.
We weren’t aware that the only access to the rooms on the first floor is up and outside stone staircase - not ideal in the wet.
The car park is small but manageable even with large vehicles.
We’d happily return ”

“We received a very warm, friendly welcome at La Haute Traversière. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. Excellent facilities included the kitchen for guests to use during their stay, deckchairs and a picnic table on the lawn and a boules court. It was nice to meet other guests at breakfast.
