"Beautiful traditional hotel, very well located, charming rooms although a bit small. Flower lined balcony overlooking the street (not big enough to sit on but charming). Numerous restaurants and shops within walking distance, convenient to transit and all tourist attractions. Staff super helpful. I reported a small problem with my window shades and it was fixed by the time I got back to hotel. Blackout shades in the room, extensive updated electrical amenities, convenient plug in outlets next to bed and desk. My room was directly across from the bar that some other reviewers reported as noisy all night, I did not hear any noise, room was well insulated and the blackout shades were wonderful. The ensuite shower is also a bit small but not out of the norm for a European hotel, quality toiletries provided. Bedding was luxury and comfortable."

"Just spect 4 nights here during heatwave but room was nice and cool with air conditioning. We had a triple room that was clean, by the street but with no noise. Good shower that worked fine and powerful hairdresser on the wall. Beds were very comfy. Open shelves rather than closed wardrobes but ample hangers and space for 3. Had no need to fully engage with reception as we had no issues whatsoever albeit everyone we dealt with was friendly and asked if everything was ok. Didn’t have breakfast so can’t comment. The lounge area is eclectic and interesting. We booked this hotel due to location, price and good reviews. Ignore negative comments and focus on the good ones. It’s worth adding that we have stayed in many 5 star hotels around the world and that there are aspects of this 2 star one that are better, the beds and shower are good examples."
