I booked early and got a good deal on the room- it was only around $120 per night. The staff was very nice, there was a prayer card on the bed, and the room was decently clean. But I wouldn’t have been very happy if I’d paid more. The motel is on a pretty busy road, and there was a weird old smell to the room. Some of that might be because people are constantly smoking outside. Every time we l when in or out we’d have to walk past smokers. I think a huge improvement would be having a smoking area somewhere that isn’t right up against the building.
The light continental breakfast was surprisingly decent, had a waffle maker and fresh coffee plus some pastries. We didn’t use the pool but that’s nice to have.
Overall I think this is a great choice on a budget, but I wouldn’t pay more than $150/night personally.
