Cherokee Park Vacations from $548

So to preface, we travel multiple times per year to Nashville. This is a nicer hotel, so I tend to expect more for the price. The Kimpton Aertson is a beautiful property in an excellent location. The décor is gorgeous, and we really enjoyed the complimentary happy hour. The valet attendants and young men working outside were absolutely wonderful; so friendly, helpful, and welcoming. A special thank-you also goes to the kind woman who stored our luggage when we arrived. There were so many cars that I couldn’t even get out near the entrance, but she went out of her way to help us even though we weren’t parking at the hotel. Unfortunately, the service inside the hotel was inconsistent. The young woman who checked me out was not friendly, & I had similar experiences with a couple of employees during happy hour. I was also disappointed to discover an additional destination or amenity fee. I booked through Hotels.com, so the lack of clarity may have been more of a Hotels.com issue. However, after reading more about the fee, it appeared that certain benefits or credits were included in return. No one at the front desk ever explained the fee or told us how to use those benefits, which made the charge especially frustrating. Overall, it’s a lovely hotel with a terrific location.

We decided to end our stay in Tennessee here. It is a pricey hotel. I don’t think it is worth the money but it is a very nice hotel with lovely staff! Walkable to the shops and restaurants in Franklin. I just think at $700+ a night, I want more for my money.
