"This was our 2nd stay at this hotel for my wife, and I and we came away more impressed than our 1st. stay. Let me start off by saying what a welcome by Joy who was at the front desk. She was very welcoming, Cheerful and attentive, even though she was new to her position. The room was nicely appointed with low comfortable beds, unlike those tall beds in other establishments that you need a step ladder to get into, full size refrigerator, a good size TV with lots of channels to view. Everywhere at this hotel was spotless, including the dog walk area. They also had a well-kept area with picnic benches, a grill, horseshoes court, and an area set up for cornhole. The only small drawback is they do not have free breakfast but considering the difference in price between them and the other area hotels (which we have stayed at them all) and the recent poor quality of the breakfast at those hotels make staying at My Place worth the price"

"I really don’t know where to start it was great from beginning to end! Ricky was a 10/10 host everything you may need he was there to accommodate. Easy communication, friendly it almost felt like staying with a family member. The stay and the pool is beyond beautiful the pictures really don’t give it justice it’s a really massive backyard! We had a pool party for brother who got out of the army and it was enough space to fit everyone. I’m telling you now to look no further THIS stay is the place to book. I will be booking again soon "

"When I first went to Colonial Beach, River Edge Inn was the Days Inn. They remodeled and changed the name. The rooms were nice and immaculate. The staff was wonderfully pleasant. I will always stay at River Edge Inn."
