From major tourist drawcards to hidden gems slightly off the beaten path, the area around Chetwynd is wonderfully endowed with fabulous attractions. Hudson's Hope and Tumbler Ridge are just two of the many other places worth seeing while you're in Northern British Columbia.
About 50 miles (80 kilometers) to the northeast of Chetwynd is Fort St. John, an important regional city and the home of Northern Lights College-Fort St. John, Pomeroy Sport Centre and North Peace Museum. If you have enough time, be sure to visit Totem Mall and Fort St. John Rotary Spray Park before heading back to Chetwynd.
