This is easily one of the most idyllic places I have ever stayed. Everything here is wonderful. From arrival to departure, our experience was joyful, serene, and beautiful. The room was a delight, the breakfast delicious, the massage services comfortable, and the staff... The staff were the best. Always helpful, always friendly. Just walking around this resort felt like an amenity. The architecture and landscaping are expertly designed to craft a feeling that just simply must be experienced to believe. If you are in Chiang Rai, stay here. It is simply the best.

Beautiful rooms, lovely grounds. Had the best massage at the spa: my masseuse could read my body and knew how to tailor the treatment accordingly. A minor quibble, but the bed pillows are enormous and firmly overstuffed, which I found uncomfortable. Otherwise a perfect stay.

I absolutely loved staying in this hotel! It was so elegant, location by the river was beautiful, breakfast was good, they even had Khanom Krok for breakfast. Never had that anywhere in Thailand, very nice little detail. My room was big, beautiful and clean, staff was friendly and welcoming, garden so beautiful.

The natural environment stood out. I felt at peace with the well maintained greenery. The river view was amazing to see while eating breakfast. The staff were very nice. Breakfast was pretty good for a hotel breakfast buffet.

The Legend is a lovely hotel by the river. The rooms are large charming cottage-style, some with patio and the sound of fountains. The hotel restaurant we chose (there a two) has very good Thai food at reasonable prices. Service is exceptional.
