The management was very nice and polite. The room itself was horrible. Not clean and no amenities whatsoever. No towels or comforters were in the room. The shower still has hair in it from a previous guest. Lyft drivers were scared to come to the hotel due to its reputation. It was very sketchy.
Dealing with the people staying screaming at midnight at night screaming, "Security!!" waking everyone up while others had a long trip. Guests were inconsiderate but the place itself was wonderful and customer service was professional and kind!
I personally would not recommend any one stay here unless it's an emergency. There is a reason the price is so cheap. Staff were super nice to me but I have to be honest this place is as bad as it gets when it comes to quality. My entire trip reeked of smoke and I just think there needs to be a makeover.
I realize this property is in the process of a renovation, however it sadly should not be open during this time. The location is in a tough neighborhood, the hotel lobby was broken into the night we were there. Pets are not permitted, although a gentleman had a large pit bull mix walking unleashed down the hallway.
It was okay experience for me it was ants in my room and I had to get another room

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
This has to be the most hole in the wall place I have ever been too. Jacuzzi doesn’t work, No cable, No WiFi, No microwave & No Ice Machine. And half of the place is out of service.
The place was terrible the first room had dirty floors and had water on top of the air conditioner. Shower looked unclean and gnats were on the bed. Got another room was a little better but had no other choice to stay. Next day someone ran a large vehicle Thur the a front entranceway and destroyed the windowframe. I think they were after the ATM machine. It was unsafe and frightening experience. Never will I stay there again.
They took my reservation and when I arrived they said they were fully booked. There was no one avaliable except a security guard.I called before arriving to ask some questions about the hotel room and a lady answered pretended to be the hotel staff. She should have told me they are completely booked at that time. Once we learned about no vacancy I called back and she said we had the wrong number and that I had called her personal number and she does not work at a hotel.
I came to get into my room and the lobby staff member told me they have never had vacancies and they accidentally put it on the market. To get a refund, I had to get the agent on the phone to call the hotel and confirm I didn’t have a room. Well, the hotel literally doesn’t even have a phone. The man at the front desk said there should be a phone but he doesn’t know the number. He asked if I could hand him the phone to speak to the booking agent and didn’t understand that wouldn’t work.
While I was waiting for hours, the hotel was disgusting and the guests were walking around in their underwear. NEVER stay here

You get what you pay for. If you’re traveling to Chicago, just pay for a hotel closer to the city. Everything is walking distance so save your money on the uber/car rental
Muy sucias las habitaciones y con un olor a cigarro y marihuana. Una de las toallas que estaba en el baño sucia el lavabo no estaba limpio espejos mancha dos. En lo general no vale la pena a pesar que dice que cambiaron de administración.
No volvería a ir
Between them & Expedia very terrible customer service. Expedia allowed me to book this stay only for the place to be overbooked and only knowing once I got to the property. After being told the reservation I had paid for I could not stay due to them being over booked and the staff of the stay putting blame on the 3rd party company (Expedia) I was told don’t worry you will be refunded which was only another worry on top of trying to find somewhere to stay. I contacted Expedia that same night and was told they would reach back out within 48 hours I did not hear anything and contact them 8/3/26 to receive an updated I was then told they were trying to contact the property manager and was not hearing anything back I received an email from Expedia to the management stating,
“We are reaching out regarding a mutual guest who has contacted us advising that they were not accommodated by the property on their reserved stay dates. As a result, the guest was unable to utilize the reservation and is requesting a full refund. Upon review of the booking, we noted that the reservation is now past-dated and that refund processing options remain available in our system. However, before proceeding, we would appreciate your confirmation regarding the guest's claim and authorization for a refund. Given the circumstances, we kindly request your assistance and an expedited response so that we may provide a timely resolution and that they would wait 3 days before making a decision.
