The house was easy to find and easy to get in to. It was spotless and perfect for our family - 2 adults, 2 kids, 2 grandparents. Bedrooms were cozy with plenty of storage space to unpack. Bathrooms were clean. Living room was comfy with lots of cushy couches to relax. Outdoor space was awesome, especially the screened in porch. Outdoor shower was awesome to clean off from the beach at the end of the day. Kitchen was adequately stocked to make basic meals. Appreciated the starter paper goods and sponge/soap for dishes. We had a couple of minor maintenance issues during our stay. The management was extremely responsive to our requests and had issues fixed within a couple of hours. We would definitely stay again. It was a beautiful week away!

Such an amazing place. Kitchen was very well stocked with cooking supplies. Seaside provided us with a starter bag with basic supplies and it was very clean. Plenty of parking. Would definitely stay there again.

Lots of room

The townhouse was spacious and clean. We did however notice ants in the kitchen. The manager brought traps that same day but it didn’t totally solve the problem. The location is a bit odd with trailers behind the home. Otherwise it was fine for what we needed. Nice hose and outdoor shower. Can see the bay from the balcony.

Last Minute Getaway

We did a last-minute getaway with our son's family before our granddaughters return to school. Even with tropical storm Debbie looming, the weather fortunately didn't impact our stay very much at all. Seaside Vacations was awesome. They stayed in touch with us throughout our stay with weather updates, events and other concerns. We never before had a Host who provided so much help and information. The covered porch below was great for loading and unloading. The house was beautiful, well maintained and well furnished. I must say, the refrigerator was the focal point of the house. So much so, that my wife, son and daughter-in-law all started looking for one online! The house is laid out nicely with plenty of room and includes all the amenities we needed. The screened porch was a very nice spot to relax in the evening. Weather conditions aside, we had a great four-night stay. Thank you!

I can't say enough about this property and the staff that takes care of it. The pictures online do not do it justice. It is a wonderful place to stay, and I look forward to staying there again in the future.

Sand Penny met our needs

We stayed for Father’s Day weekend to fish a Chincoteague offshore tournament. The house had everything we needed and was more than enough space for 5 adults. Great sunsets. Loved the screened in porch to hang out after the sun went down. Seaside vacations is awesome! Linens, towels and very professional.

Spacious and comfortable place with view of the water

My party of 6 (ages 8-65) had a wonderful week here. We loved the view of the water from the master bedroom. It was also convenient to have a screened-in porch off the kitchen, although the porch looks out away from the water, onto the backs of other properties. There was a strong musty smell when we arrived, but it improved when we opened the windows and aired it out a bit. Overall, it was a very comfortable place to spend a week with family and friends on a less busy part of the island.

Our stay at Sand Penny on Doe Bay Lane

Property/townhouse excellent. A lot of stairs steps for anyone who has issues going up and down steps. Dryer was broke down during the stay. RepaIrman came but had to order parts. Very peaceful area with a great view! Would go back again and stay at this wonderful place!

Great, roomy rental!

We decided to make the trip to Chincoteague last minute and were lucky enough to find this rental. Best place we have stayed after visiting the island for years! Will be back! Roomy, clean and updated! Loved the screened in porch!!!!

I like the property located off the main road and it was quiet and peaceful. The property was very nice and quiet. The living room was huge, the kitchen was functional, the master bedroom was facing the sunsets which was very pretty. It would be even better if the house had 3 full bath since we had 6 adults staying at the house but that just a minor problem. After all, we enjoyed the place very much. I give it a 4 thumbs up.

Great Location!

We enjoyed our stay here. It was conveniently located to main street. Water views but no water access but that was perfectly fine for us. It is advertised as bedroom 1 being King sized but it was queen sized and the sheets did not fit. We had an issue with ants in the coffee pot and the main floor bathroom. Property owner offered a new coffee pot. There were also black birds living in the dryer vent that were rather noisy but all in all the Property was nice amd we made the best of it.
