Clay County Vacations & Trips from $390

the cleanest part was the bathroom. we didn’t even sleep on the beds fr. we used my air mattress to sleep on top of it and it was a BUNCH of flies like a whole family of flies in your room. all hours of the night and day. the roaches are terrible. i booked a king and they gave me two queens. the room had a god awful smell and almost made me and my boyfriend go to the hospital because of the mold. i should’ve took my money some else where. would never book again.

The coffee.

We were given a key to 1 rm and when we used it there was already somebody in that rm so went to the desk and she put us in another rm but that didnt work only had 1 bed and needed 2 since there were 5 of us. So then we get a rm upstairs but had to take the stairs because the elevator was out and the lady at the desk took us up there to unlock the door with her actual key. We couldn't get a key because the computers were down and they couldn't make a card key so we had to make sure 1 of us stayed in the rm to open the door if we went out. The coffee pot was missing the lid and we had to ask for a trash can no trash cans in rm. And the comforters were so thin and they need new pillows. Some of them were so small. Definitely not worth the money

Unfortunately there was construction going on that we were not made aware of prior to booking. We arrived Friday night to drilling and pounding well past 8 pm. There was only one set of towels in our room and when we asked for more they didn’t have any clean towels available. I witnessed another woman asking for some at the front seat at another time and all they were able to give her was a hand towel when she needed to shower. I’m not sure what the employees did. Saturday night we walked in and the front desk worker was asleep in a chair in the lobby with their jacket over their head. The elevators were slow to the point where we thought we got stuck on the one that was “working”. Our bed sheets and pillow cases also had stains on them but there were none to replace them with. There was also no parking if you arrived later because charter buses were taking up 5 spaces each parked sideways in the parking lot along with construction trucks. And if you want anywhere to set your belongings get a suite because the basic rooms have no where to set anything. The hotel has potential but it is ran horribly. We couldn’t find another hotel with availability due to the fact that it was homecoming weekend at Arkansas State. I’d like a refund.

The air conditioner worked really well & shower had great pressure, those are the positives. The staff at check in was not super rude, but definitely not friendly. Bed was hard, room wasn't overly clean, they allow smoking in the room, & someone smoked weed in our room recently.
