West Coast Hide AwayStaying in a yurt at Wya Point Resort is such great way to get away from it all and experience the Vancouver Island Pacific Rim region. I had a beach to myself, felt asleep to the sound of the waves crashing, and was tucked away in the rain forest at night. Amazing!

Review of CabinThe cabin, like the whole resort is a bit elderly, but cabin was clean, had a full kitchen (which could do with more crockery and cutlery) and was comfortable. The pull out couch to make another bed was ancient and should be replaced. Fortunately we only had to use it once.

Staff were awesome, I loved the relaxing atmosphere. Our room was on the second floor and we didn't have a balcony, which would have been much better considering our room was a little cramped. Overall a great experience with fresh baked cookies in the evening and a spectacular view!
