It was a short drive to CVNP Brandywine falls and Ledges trail. We also took a trip to the Rock and Roll Hall of fame. Our kids played in the big fenced back yard and there were lots of restaurants nearby. For a property so large, it would be great if the kitchen Had a few more pieces of silver ware and cups. We had plenty of room for myself and my wife, sister, brother in law and two kids, and my parents. We didn't spend much time in the yard due to the weather but it was a nice large area and being fenced in was a plus for pets or kids. Great size for large group. 100 year old house will always have quirks. Well appointed. Kitchen worked really well but one counter top very warped. Great parking in back. Screened in porch was cute. Couldn’t give 5 stars because of some repair issues - easily fixed. Doors were off on front bedroom closet upstairs. Ceiling fan in back upstairs bedroom very very loose. Couldn’t use it. Stairs need some serious tweaking. DIY work not done well at all. Bedroom downstairs opposite kitchen - screws missing from deadbolt - had to pull plate to shut door. Sink in bathroom by laundry downstairs has major drainage problem. Bathroom door in master hung low and middle hinge missing - looks like there used to be a pocket door. No tub shower combo in master - tub spout however! Overall really good stay. Wanted to buy marbles to see how much floor dropped in dining area.
