You have to really appreciate historical buildings and how the staff here does absolutely the best they can with what they have. I love the energy, I appreciate how clean they keep it and make us feel so welcome. Not all places with 5 stars have the best service. This place is well rounded. Thank you for the warm welcome!

Very cute, clean and with all amenities. Smart staff, instructions were very clear. Room is a bit small for hanging around in but perfect for sleep and go with enough room for short chill breaks.

Staff were top notch. But the room was a disaster. There was a bathroom sink in the corner of the room. Not in the bathroom. There was white stuff died all around the base of the sink in the carpet. There were no unused outlets to charge or plug in anything or like one of the lamps or clocks that acts as a splitter/ charging station. I had one bath towel for my my 3 night stay and no other towels like none. I would take it to the corner sink to brush my teeth then take it across the room into the bathroom to shower with. The bathroom light had one burn out bulb and one so dim I just left it on as a “night light” so I could find my way in the dark. Having said that you could barely see anything in the bathroom especially once in the shower with the curtains closed. It is a beautiful building from the out side, has ton of character and is very unique from the inside also. including the lobby, including the front desk and even the hallways have antiques all around. It’s very cool. The staff is very helpful and friendly to be honest. I didn’t really ask much about changing the situation that is in because they’re really was no making it better. But as I’ve already stated the room wasn’t backed a total disaster complete with the bed that must’ve been 20 or 30 years old and then Nancy self judging by how blown out of the springs in it were.

The Clewiston Inn is a faded elegant place. It became run-down and the new manager doesnt have the budget or talent for good renovation work. Rooms are big and furniture is heavy and old but sorta elegant, like all the fine original woodwork. Crummy little breakfast. And they ignorantly leave the buildings outside floodlights on 24/7. They seem mentally challenged there. But the architecture is charming. I prefer it to square concrete modern hovel hotels.

Excellent staff but the hotel could use some improvements, particularly the restrooms. At the very least the restroom in the room where my husband and I stayed. All things considered, we always stay at this hotel while in Clewiston and we plan to continue to do so.

The staff was amazing, but the room was disgusting. There was mode on the shower curtains. The water wouldn’t go down in the tub nor the sink. Honestly, this is the first time I ever booked a hotel and this was not a good experience.
