Living Coimbra Corpo de Deus - Three-Bedroom Apartment

Living Coimbra Corpo de Deus is a set of independent apartments suitable for families or groups who want to enjoy a more familiar environment. All apartments have been fully renovated and feature air conditioning, cable TV channels and free WiFi. Some apartments have a small interior terrace with garden furniture so you can enjoy beautiful Portuguese wine.
Situated in the historic center of the beautiful city of Coimbra, in the heart of the city, Living Coimbra Corpo de Deus is very close to the shopping area and great restaurants. Just 10 minutes' walk is enough to reach the famous Coimbra University, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, or on the banks of the Mondego River.
In Corps de God Street there was, in the Medieval age, the Old Jewry and the old Synagogue.
At about 20 meters you can hear the famous fado of Coimbra in a Chapel (former Chapel of Our Lady of Victory) today Casa de Fados- Centro Cultural à Capella.
Take the opportunity to visit Santa Cruz Monastery, where the tombs of the first two kings of Portugal lie, or the Machado de Castro Museum with its Roman Crypttoportic.
A public car park is less than 150 meters away and a taxi rank is 350 meters away.
Despite its very central location the street is quiet and safe.

Great Location

The apartment fit our needs with comfortable beds and two baths. The best part was the location to many wonderful moments of life for shopping and dining. Loved it.

The location of the apartment was excellent, everything else was extremely mediocre. It would be excellent for a group of students - that was the level of quality of all amenities. WiFi was extremely poor which is vital for traveling. Overall a disappointing experience.

Prime location!

The place was as advertised, clean and quiet. Located close to Market Municipal and (for us) within walking distance of the university and the town. Our host, Joel, was immediately responsive to my questions before and during our stay. We arrived by car and parking was slightly challenging. This is not the fault of the host, just a reality. We parked in the lot of the Market Municipal. Tickets must be purchased (with coin only) and placed on the dash. No big problem once we figured it out and obtained enough euros in coin. This is noted to provide information for future guests. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice stay

The apartment is super cute and compact. There’s 3 bedrooms but luckily we only needed 2, because the 3rd bedroom we used as out closet/storage for suitcases. It is clean and nicely decorated but fixtures/furniture, etc were not durable nor great quality. The location was great, inside the old city so we walked everywhere. We left out car in a parking area very close to the apartment and it was very reasonably priced. You won’t need your car during your stay. Communication with the host wasn’t great and was very last minute. But overall, everything worked out nicely and we had a great stay.

Coimbra is a sweet place to visit and this apartment was a charming and comfortable home base. It was nicely appointed with cozy towels and we all slept well. It was fun to explore the university and the gardens.
