Quiet, quiet. Unbeatable privacy but close to amenities and outdoor activities. Walk (don't drive) to Pikes Peak Cog Railway, Barr Trail, Manitou Incline. "Residents Only" street so should be no tourist traffic and no tourist noise. FREE on-site, off-road parking for 3 vehicles. Two living rooms. 10 foot ceilings. Unique architecture. Chef's kitchen. Granite counter tops. Stainless appliances. Free Wi-Fi. Two OnDemand HDTVs. Relax on wrap around Old-World balcony and patios overlooking valley, Pikes Peak Cog Railway, and Ruxton Creek. Garden of the Gods view. Captivating views of city lights, surrounding mountains, scenic rock formations, and towering pines. Lovingly remodeled and renovated over the years. Gather with family & friends to relax and rejuvenate.

Hot tub is located in separate vaulted studio building behind and above main home. OS windows. 100% privacy.

*NOTE: Hot tub is cleaned & sanitized between each guest reservation.

Children must be supervised at all times on property and at Guest’s own risk. There are multiple steep terraces with no railings.

Charming 140 year old home, stairs are the way they designed them long ago & not easy but no problem if you don’t have mobility issues. Balcony views are what make this home by far. So worth it. Also close to many things to do. We did a high tea, dinner at Cliff House, Sunwater spa & more. Instructions from owner were clear & easy to follow. I would consider coming here again.

Beautiful Home Right Across from the COGWAY

This is our second stay at this property. It is a beautiful location and we enjoyed sunrises on the porch and watching the COG railway.

This wonderful quirky house was great! The location is great for the incline and Pikes Peak train. Very clean. Just a heads up….lots of steps but definitely doable. The porch and view was wonderful. Jean was always available. Great place!

Perfect location and views

We loved this house and location! We were able to walk to and from the Cogway train! You could see the train coming and going and hear water running. It was perfect! You are only minutes from downtown Manitou and all of the many things to do there!

The view from the balcony is wonderful! The picture is what sold me on this rental. That and the proximity to the cog train depot. We simply walked down to the station in the morning. The house is also a very short walk to the Barr Trail trailhead. Very convenient to someone wanting to hike the Pikes Peak Trail. The house was clean and the beds comfortable with thick comforters. There are a lot of stairs and they are narrow. The listing did say there were stairs, but we didn’t appreciate how many to reach the bedrooms.

Great place!

Gorgeous view and great location. The host was very communicative and wonderful to work with. There are steep stairs getting into the house and within the house. It wouldn’t be a great for this with physical limitations.

Beautiful location

This is an excellent location close to the cog railway and manitou incline. The house is as described in the listing, and the patio has great views. I would stay here again.

We planned a hiking trip - Pikes Peak. Location is JUST PERFECT. We hiked just around the property to start our hike from Barr Trailhead. We didn’t have to worry about finding a parking spot way early in morning. We didn’t get to use hot tub, so can’t comment on it. It’s an old home but very homely. Kitchen is fully stocked with all essential utensils, dishes, coffee makers. Bosch dishwasher :)! Huge refrigerator! We didn’t check if it is able to make ice or not - perhaps, waterline is not connected! It’s right across from Cograil Depot and small river coming down from the mountain. Porch faces the depot, valley towards Colorado Springs and ridge. Amazing views! Overall, this is a great place for everyone seeking for a weekend get away or weeks of retreat from hustle and bustle!

Very clean, well stocked with towels, kitchen pots, pans, crock pot etc. beautifully decorated for Christmas. Perfect location to walk to Pikes Peak Cog, Barr trail and Manitou incline.

Loved the location in Manitou Springs! We did the Incline and the Cog Railway; both were within walking distance which didn’t require us to drive and pay for parking. The home was clean, had all the amenities we needed and fun detail. The hot tub was a wonderful perk.

Great stay on the Cog Railway

Property was perfect for our group of six. We could walk to town, easily, and got a work out on the hill back to the house. Enjoyed hiking trails and Cog Railway nearby. Loved the deck for morning and evening nature watching.

Cozy home and great location

We enjoyed our stay, with beautiful views from the balcony, and a very serene and quiet area! located at the foot of the Manitou incline and Barr trail. The home was cozy and very clean. The stairs in and out were a workout, especially after hiking, but we made it! Host was great at communicating and accommodating us!

Central location for CO Springs exploring

Spent part of our spring break here and adventuring around COS. Easy location to several COS locations and also easy walk down to Manitou Springs. Enjoyed the mornings on the porch with a cup of coffee.

Great stay! Lovely property!

Quaint historic cabin! Enjoyed coffee on the side deck in the morning and wine on the front porch in the evenings. Great workout with all the stairs. Lots of beds to choose from. My family loved the upstairs bathroom. Great place for a mobile family!
